Judges
The book of Judges is a haunting part of the bible. It focuses on flawed and violent narratives of the Judges, people set to deliver justice to Israel in a time of social chaos. Rather than resembling people that handle enforcement of law(like in our time), they were more akin to military and gang leaders.
These collections of works highlight the book of Judges reported into a variety of cultural contexts.
